Microsoft new wearable technology - Microsoft HoloLens

Wearable technology has been a fast growing field in the technology industry. Ever since Google glass then came Microsoft band and now Microsoft latest technology from science fictions "Microsoft HoloLens"

The Hollywood has given a clear vision of what hologram technology would look like in the nearest future in movies like Ironman, The Avengers and Marvels Agent of Shield. Now it is time to face the real life as Microsoft is presenting a wearable hologram device

Microsoft HoloLens is the next generation computer; it has all the components of a computer in it. It produces 3D images that only the wearer can see while you still see the real world. It needs no Smartphone to operate.

Microsoft HoloLens puts you at the center of the world that blends holograms with reality. With the abilities to design and shape holograms. You'll have a new medium to express your creativity, a more efficient way to teach and learn, and a more effective visualize your work and share ideas.

As holograms, your digital content will be as real as physical objects in the room. For the first time, holograms will become practical tools of daily life.

The device also comes with a camera that looks at the room, so the HoloLens knows where your furniture and objects are. It can use the information it gets to project a 3D image on top of your desk or even inside them so you can see whats inside the object without really opening it.

Shape holograms to fine-tune a design. Interact with them to learn something new. When you share your ideas, show and tell from multiple perspectives. Microsoft HoloLens enables you to make decisions more confidently, work more effectively, and bring your ideas to life right before your eyes.

You don't need a mouse to click, a keyboard to type or a screen to touch. Use gestures to create, shape, size holograms. The device uses your eyes to aid you navigate and explore. You can use voice to communicate with your apps. This device understands your movement, vision, and voice enabling you to interact with content and information in d most natural way possible.

The success of Smartphones and tablets is partly due to their touch screen interface, but it's also because they're mobile devices with a variety of sensors (cameras, GPS, accelerometer) that allowed them to interact with the physical world in ways that PCs never could. A turn-by-turn direction app isn't very useful on a PC that never leaves your desk.

Similarly, HoloLens has unique capabilities that let it do things that Smartphones and PCs can't. For example, one of Microsoft's demos involves a father walking her daughter through a plumbing project over Skype. The father used his tablet to "draw" arrows in three dimensions to tell the daughter exactly where to put the part. That's made possible by the combination of 3D glasses and a sophisticated understanding of the physical world in front of the user.

This powerful device would help a lot in the medical field to put doctors through an operation; it can also help pilots, engineers and even business men. As client or teacher can see what you see by accessing the camera on a Smartphone.

Microsoft is not sure when the HoloLens will be available to the public , possibly, before it does, Google and other company might have built a similar device. But I believe it will be a very good, effective and useful computer platform; especially in the engineering field
