How to hard reset Samsung Galaxy S6 (G920F)

Using your Samsung galaxy for a while, you might need to perform a hard reset on your device maybe to free up some space, cleanup virus or reset password. With this few steps you will effectively reset your Samsung galaxy S6

Step 1
Power off the Samsung galaxy S6 you are about to reset using the power button

Step 2
Press and hold the volume up button, the home button and the power button all at the same time until the Samsung logo appears on the screen.


Step 3
There will appear a recovery mode, you will navigate with the volume button and select with the power button. Select the “wipe/ factory reset”

Step 4
Still using the volume button to navigate and the power button to select, chose “yes – delete all user data” to confirm the reset operation  

Step 6
You are almost done. Just reboot the device by selecting the “reboot system now” option.

From the menu screen, select the settings.

From you settings navigate to backup & reset.
